Although dry-cleaning is silk fabric’s best friend, with some extra love you can take care of your new silk skirt safely at home.
Cold wash only.
1. Hand wash separately in cold water or choose a mild hand-wash cycle on your washing machine with a spin count of 600 or less. It’s a good idea to use a wash bag for extra-gentle care. Do not bleach.
2. Be gentle when twisting or rubbing to avoid damaging the fabric. Do not wring.
3. To dry, hang the garment while it is still wet and let it air-dry in the shade.
4. Iron/steam in the lowest or silk mode only.
